Apicare Pre-Visit uses Apixio’s AI algorithms to mine through claims data and Epic EHR across problem lists, medications, lab results, clinical notes, reports, PHQ-9 forms, and more to find suspected risk adjustable conditions for review. Once identified, clinical staff have access to a comprehensive view of the patient longitudinal record and evidence-based insights about existing and suspected member conditions for them to curate. Accepted suspected conditions can be specified using ICD-10 or clinician-friendly terminology from Intelligent Medical Objects (IMO).*

The accepted suspected conditions are pushed to Epic’s HCC Best Practice Advisory (BPA) along with commentary directly into the clinical workflow so providers can efficiently evaluate and close diagnosis gaps during patient encounters.
